Tattoos

The quest to be better than ordinary may result in being worst than ordinary. The quest to elicit more good response from others may end in getting more negative responses from others.

Youth energy is not worried that the image will eventually become an embarrassing "cliché" on bodies of more and more people. A cliche is an "overused" and worn-out expression used to convey a popular thought or idea. The design itself may not be a cliche but the idea of tattoo is overtried and overused.

Like cosmetics, tattoos are prosthetics.  Like an artificial limb they "show" tattooed person is seeking for something "felt" to be missing or inadequate in an "attempt" to look "better".

When used as a reaction they are a "passive aggressive" way of protest against something or someone who may never recognise the protest.

They're "signs" of "unsolved conflicts" that aimed to look just playful and beautiful abstractions.
